De Graaf Anne
Born in 1964 in Antwerp, Belgium. Upon completing her studies she became a journalist for several newspapers. She covered the war in former Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Somalia, Congo, Burundi, Sudan, Gaza as well as the Tsunami. In 2007, Anne won the Press Prize of the Belgian Ministry of Development for her work as a nurse in Tanzania's worst affected AIDS clinic. Anne then became a full time photographer. She continues her work in China, South Africa, Cameroon, Togo, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, Ethiopia, Indonesia and India for the EFICO foundation. She made a series for the 11.11.11 campaign and also works for the Belgian Home Office and the port of Zeebrugge. She will follow a workshop with American photographer Steve Mc Curry (Afghan girl) in 2012.
