Waegemans Madelien

Madelien Waegemans (1981) is a Ghent-based portrait and editorial photographer. Though a web designer by education, photography quickly became her main profession, teaching herself the tricks of the trade as she went along. She started out as a concert photographer for several webzines and photocollectives, and soon discovered a knack for band portraits that earned her many assignments for notable Belgian bands and musicians. 2008 brought a change when she started out at women's magazine Flair and she is now fully devoted to earning her place as an editorial photographer.
