Schroeder Alain
Alain Schroeder was born in 1955 in Luxembourg (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg). Holding a degree in photography from the Saint-Luc Institute (Liège), in 1979 he began his career in sports photography. Through his contribution, from 1986 to 1992, to Hachette’s books “Roland-Garros vu par les vingt meilleurs photographes de tennis”, he became specialized in tennis. In 1989, in association with Michel Damanet and Pierre Havrenne, he created the press agency Reporters. However, he did not give up on field work, since he has illustrated some thirty books dedicated to China, Persia, the Renaissance, ancient Rome, the gardens of Europe, Thailand, Tuscany, Crete, Vietnam, Budapest, Venice, the abbeys of Europe, natural sites of Europe,etc.
