The Belgians in Kabul are in charge of mine sweeping operations at the KAIA airport.
Belgium has sent 4 F16 planes to Kandahar to help NATO and the ISAF in the fighting against the Taliban. In spite of the war, the city of Kabul survives. Since the fall of the Taliban regime, hospitals are slowly returning to normal activity despite limited resources.
