The men dig holes about ten metres deep. Then, the children are in charge of digging the horizontal galleries. The ground is returned to the surface by means of bags and tins. The women sieve the earth with big basins to find gold nuggets. In the twilight, traders buy the harvest of the day. The gold is weighed by means of small balances.
